The set would consist of :
THREE LAYERED ALUMINIZED HEAT PROTECTIVE SUIT/ALUMINISED PROXIMITY
Lakeland Aluminized Proximity Suits are made up Gentex's Dual mirror technology aluminized fabric. The garments are designed for personnel engaged in maintenance, repair, and operational tasks in areas of low ambient and high radiant heat and molten metals splash hazard area. Our lightweight aluminized garments are highly demanding in steel & aluminum industries now days. The highest level of protection with certification of EN11612: 2010 HR: Pass- A1, A2, B1, C4, D3 E3 & F1 and Inner Layer with certification EN11612-A1, A2, B1, C1, E2 & F1
Temperature Resistance: The Suit will resist a temperature of upto 1200°C of ambient heat.
Aluminized three layered heat protective suit made from aluminized based material. The suit consists of Coat, Pant, Hood, Gloves and Boots.
MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION:
OUTER LAYER:
The outer layer is made up Gentex 1083 Aluminised Pre-Oxidised Fabric with Dual Mirror technology.
The fabric has a total weight of 440g/m2 (+/-30g/m2)
The fabric is tested and certified to EN11612 having a rating of A1 B1 C4 D3, E3 & F1.
The fabric offers excellent thermal, radiant and convective heat protection as well as contact heat.
MIDDLE LAYER:
A combination of moisture barrier with ePTFE membrane and thermal barrier with woollen felt.
The fabric offers excellent thermal, radiant and convective heat protection as well as contact heat.
INNER LAYER:
The inner most layer is made from flame retardant cotton fabric.
The fabric has a total weight of 330 g/m2 (+/-5g/m2).
The fabric is tested and certified to EN 11612 having rating of A1, A2, B1, C2, E3, & F1 with an ATPV rating of 13.3 cal/cm2.
Coat/Jacket
The coat is designed to offer maximum protection with limited discomfort to the user, The coat is provided with front zip fastening arrangement with overlapping flap with Velcro, the coat is provided with high protective collar with throat guard and Velcro tightening arrangement for better protection. The sleeves of the coat are provided with elastic wrist and finger loops with additional press buttoning tightening arrangements. The coat is stitched with flame retardant and mechanically strong para- aramid thread. The coat can be supplied with provision for BA pouch or without BA pouch.
Pant/Trouser
The pant is designed to offer maximum protection with limited discomfort to the user. The pant is provided with suspenders for fit adjustment with quick release snap buttons. The pant is provided with zipper and Velcro overlapping at fork area. The pant is provided with fastening arrangement at the bottom. The pant is stitched with flame retardant and mechanically strong para-aramid thread.
Hood
The hood is designed to cover the full head area and overlapping the shoulder. The hood is provided with two fastening arrangements to hold the hood firmly on the head. The hood is provided with two- layer visor inner layer is clear & outer layer is Polycarbonate gold plated reflective visor for better heat reflection. The visor is certified to EN166. The hood is fitted with CE certified Fire man helmet certified to EN 443. The hood is to be stitched with flame retardant and mechanically strong para- aramid thread.
Hand Gloves
The hand glove is designed in Mitten type with thumb. The hand glove is provided with additional layer of para-aramid on palm and fingers area for added heat and mechanical protection. The length of the glove is 14" The glove is provided with fastening arrangement at the cuff area. The glove is stitched with flame retardant and mechanically strong para-aramid thread.
Boot
The boot consists of two parts one is Inner safety shoes and upper cover made from Gentex 1083 Aluminized Fabric.
Inner Safety Shoe
The inner safety shoe is manufactured from high quality genuine leather: Buff Barton Print Black Waterproof DIN-53 with rubber sole [Heat resistant outsole (HRO)]; with good grip and chemical resistance. The shoe is provided with toe cap for better heat and impact resistance. The inner shoe is certified to EN20345 for S3 SRC, HRO.
Upper Cover
The upper cover of the shoe is made from Gentex 1083 aluminized Fabric with press button holding arrangement at the ankle and bottom area.
APPROVALS
The aluminized outer fabric is tested and certified to EN ISO 11612-A1, B1, C4, D3, E3 & F1
The Inner layer is tested and certified to EN ISO 11612.-A1, A2, B1, C2, E3 & F1
The helmet is certified to EN 443.
The visor is certified to EN 166 & 171.
The shoe is certified to EN20345 for $3 CI HI HRO SRC.
PACKING:
Suit will be supplied in easy to carry nylon bag.
